The keyboard/synthesizer-infused cut “Stratosphere” is pleasant enough as an experimental piece, but we soon get back to Beck basics – the good stuff. This is a track which is so good you’ll probably want to listen to it three or four times in a row. It is followed by the melodic, trip-hoppy, introspective, and catchy love song, “See Through”. The finger-popping “Chemical” delivers a soaring orchestral-infused chorus. This song certainly marks one of the best cuts on the album. ![]() Next up is the melodic synthesizer-based and vocally driven alt-rock ballad “Die Waiting” with its introspective and memorable melodic lyrical content. Others include collaborations with long-time bandmates Jason Faulkner, Smokey Hormel, and Roger Manning. These are just two of the more successful co-produced songs on the album.
